Waiting List

At Belle House Pomeranians, we do not maintain a traditional waiting list—and this is by design.

Rather than placing reservations before a puppy’s development can be properly assessed, we take a more intentional approach to ensure each puppy is thoughtfully matched with the right home. Taking this extra time for our puppies to grow and develop before making them available allows our clients to make informed, confident choices. 

As preservation breeders, we breed first and foremost for our own program in our ongoing pursuit to protect and enhance the health, structure, and beauty of the Pomeranian breed. Every pairing is thoughtfully planned with intention and purpose. Puppies not retained for show or furthering the lines are then offered as exceptional companions.

We do not open puppies for consideration at birth. Instead, we wait until they are at least six weeks old, when we are able to properly evaluate structure, temperament, and overall quality. This is also when their individual personalities begin to emerge.

From birth, we carefully track each puppy’s weight and development weekly in order to provide the most informed estimate of adult size possible. Charting at birth or during the earliest weeks provides very limited accuracy, as puppies are still developing and have not yet reached a stage where meaningful size predictions can be made.

Choosing a puppy prior to this stage is often based solely on color and gender. While those traits may be appealing, they do not reflect the full picture of who that puppy will become.

Our goal is to ensure that every Belle House puppy is placed with intention—where their personality, size, and presence are the right fit for their future home.
